See below for all information regarding schedule, awards, and rules. No tickets will be mailed in advance of the event date.
UPDATE 9/3 - 2020 Championship+Premiership Step Lecture will be offered immediately following the conclusion of the competition. Entry is pay-what-you-wish and available for pre-order here or pay at the door. Any additional revenue over the cost of the event will be donated back to Midwest FUSTA.
Please note, $1 of every entry will be donated to the Midwest FUSTA ScotDance organization.

All dancers will compete in shortened steps, including adult premier competitors. All groups will compete at the same time. There will be no AM/PM split. Age groups will be determined by entries received. Cash prizes to all premier groups and choreography.

8:00 AM Gates Opens
9:30 AM Registration Begins (open to all competitors)
10:00 AM Competition Begins (national dances first)
A short lunch break will occur between the end of the Trews and the start of Choreography. Awards follow the conclusion of choreography competition. There will also be an opportunity for anyone (non-competitors, too) to join us for a mass fling with the pipe pands at Opening Ceremonies.

1. SOBHD rules will be followed. Judges decision is final.
2. All entry fees are to be in U.S. currency only; all checks and money orders are to be made payable to The Columbus Scottish Festival.
3. Any Dancer not ready to compete when called will forfeit the chance to dance in that event.
4. Age of the competitor is as of day of the competition.
5. Entries must be received no later than September 1, 2019. Entries received after this date will be charged a $10.00 late fee and competitor(s) name will not appear on dancers list.
6. Dancer must be in costume to receive awards.
7. Last to enter, first to dance.
8. Dancer MUST show actual 2019 Registration.
9.We request that dancers, teachers, and parents comply with FUSTA Code of Ethics.
11. Pre-Premier (except Primary) and Premier trophies will be awarded on highest aggregate points from ALL 5 dances. The Novice Fling Challenge is a separate event and does not count toward the aggregate trophy.
